The south-east Queensland thread
Throught it would be a good idea to start a thread dedicated to all boarders in the area
just a place to organise sessions, talk about runs, and anything else you can come up with
cheers

Re: The south-east Queensland thread
actully talking to my dad (he used to skate a little when he was younger)
there is *apparently* a large pipe at the gap
It is about big enough to fit a small car into
It would really be sweet to hit up
I will see if i can go check it out somtime and see if its still skateable.
wondering if anyone would be up for a skate there sometime?
also what do you think of the idea of having regular skates (every second sunday?) each time going to a different spots

I really would love to do that run
have heard good things about it
but I don't have a DH setup and have only done shorter DH runs so havn't had enough experience to do a 80kph avg. speed run like that
although if you talk to joe (sunnycoastlongboarder) he lives up there and im sure would be keen to do it with you
for now I can only hope I will be able to do that in the future
can't wait to get somesort of Dh setup but

cause there was a stormwater drain that ran straight under my street where i used to live. probably dark, and i wouldnt go near the ####er on a rainy day,

Re: The south-east Queensland thread
Ok Sweet.
I know heaps of perfect places to go on the gold coast.
I'll pick anyone up who needs a lift from Brisbane and south.
There are a few hills around that top at 60km/h but are perfect training hills. How about this saturday. I have about 3 spare boards that are perfect for these hills. They are undeveloped new estates so there is no traffic at all.
I'm thinking about meeting there at 11am and skating till 3pm should be enough time.
Let me know who is in.
Just PM me your details if you need a ride.
Here is the hill

Hey guys,
I can't make it this Saturday but I was thinking for anyone interested we might hit some carparks around the city on Sunday. Theres a couple Nick told me about that look good. Sorry for the short notice.
Meet at Anzac square (the one with the flame across the road from central station) at 11am. Call Nick (me) 0433 946 244 or Isaac 0407 194 326 if your late or anything.
