Hey guys,

I new here, and new to long boarding, but I've been hooked and now I can't get enough.

I've been hitting up Moggill rd (way past kenmore, near Bellbowrie) and there are some killer hills out there. It is a little busy at times, but definitely worth it. I would mark it on that map but I don't really now how.

Have a good one!!

I used to live on college campus at UQ. St Lucia has some rad hills around very close to UQ.

I am a QUT student and skate from Milton area to the city.

Queens Warf Rd, along the river (behind the casino) is a fun little hill to cruise down to launch you to QUT.

Thanks for uploading all the spots.

We, my partner and I, just moved from Germany to the North of Brisbane.
It's good to know there are a couple of longboarders around.

We could just bring our two most favourite boards with us and unfortunately had to sell the rest . So I brought my Subsonic *pulse* LDP and she brought her loaded *vanguard* cruiser.

Which of the spots might be best for simply cruising and hanging out?

It's always fun to hang out with others and ride different boards. So if you guys are up for it just let us know.
If the swell is right we often go for a surf at the Sunshine or GoldCoast and take our longboards with us. Any surfers here?

Cheers,
Mike & Astrid

hey brissy guys!

i was thinking of having a sliding and freeride comp, maybe even a car park. get some sponsors, there isn't much in Brisbane, well to my knowledge. do you think that would be something you would be into?

just tell me if there would be interest as i would feel crap if no one came...

thanks,
- jake

I highly doubt the chance of getting a sponsor for something like that. A while ago, Redbull sponsored some carpark races though.

Check out the Friday Night city skates though. You could have a race night or something like that.
