I would say check out daddies boardshop
Loaded Bamboo Dervish Longboard Skateboard Complete Version 2
    or stoked longboards
    Stoked Longboards

but why no just buy through hopkin or boardshop, It will end up costing you the same and your supporting the local longboarding scene

awesome, i didn't know shops like that existed in australia, im probably going to get the rayne hustler from hopkin when they get it back in stock. any other recomendations for boards on those sites? i want a sick fast city cruiser, thats also good at everything else.. carving, pumping, sliding.. ive been longboarding for almost 3 months, ive got a 29inch z-flex jay adams cruiser, with paris 150's, 70mm cadillacs, bones reds, no riser pads. i'm thinking i'd like something a bit bigger, but not too big, and a lot lower because i love pushing..

hustler is indeed a sick choice
It is quite low and sounds pretty perfect for what you want it for.
I would say if you've got the money go for it.
I would go for randalls on it, they would be suited the best, and are quite stable.

yeah I hate the huge blocks they call risers on the jay adams.

where are you based? we should catch up for a skate sometime if your near.

    oh okay I'm in brisbane
I haven't owned some purtangs, and not sure if they do absorb more shock once broken in.
However you should try putting some soft risers on your board, it will help with the bumpiness quite a bit.
