fsu skateboards Australia www.skateboarddownhill.com , downhill skateboards , speedboards , ramp / street decks , slalom skateboards and streetluges , manufactured by dave kelly - *PRICES SHIPPING IS FREE

scroll down to just past half way. There force c7's there a pretty good Dh truck especially for the price (I run them on my Dh setup).

I think alex_c was selling some bears so check that out aswell.

    and about those generics.
I don't like em because they have no warranty, you don't really know what your getting. Theres a high chance the hangar will bend easily or something will break on them, and when that happens you have no warranty to get them replaced or fixed.

It would be fine if they were only $40-50max as a crusing truck but I wouldn't trust them for speed at all.

    hope that helps

    yeah Im nick on asra.

what are you wanting this setup for? Dh, freeriding, sliding/drifting?

but yeah gullwings are alright cruising carving trucks (they come stock on all sector 9 boards). I wouldn't buy the bombers simply because gullwings are only good cruising/carving trucks. I haven't ridden bombers but I think there is a reason no one uses them for DH.

If you can find a pair get some bear grizzly's, they are great trucks for their price when it comes to Dh and freerding. The forces are good too, there just a cheaper option.

If you get randalls you might wanna consider a lower angle baseplates.

But yeah tell me specifically what you will be using it for and I can help you more.

actually buddy, the gullwing bombers have a 40degree baseplate and apparently they're quite good for dh if you swap out the bushings.

the gullwing chargers are the same truck except with a higher degree baseplate. so more turny better for cruising. i'd suggest you get the chargers. man. and they're like 72 bucks

oh i think the gullwings have a slightly longer hanger than the randys

according to hop its 35* but yeah.

thats my opinion on the trucks anyway
    Have you ridden the bombers?

edit~get em if you they are 72 bucks but on hopkin there 84.
and if you can save up the extra cash i would recommend not getting either of those trucks and looking at some bear grizzlys or randalls or the like

fair enough, i guess it all comes down to personal preference
Gullwing Chargers 10 inch - Hopkin Racing 78 clams.

i haven't ridden the bombers but i really love my chargers to death. more so than when i had my paris's set up on the 50plates. and more so than randals.

    it's up to you man!

i say pick one and go for your life

sorry I missed where you said chargers.
Yeah it really depends on what he wants to set it up for.
the only dervish set-up I like is conors (flex 1, gullwing chargers and gumballs)
gullwing's are great for cruising carving all-round type boards.

Seeing as he bought a DH deck I am assuming he wants it for Dh and free riding. In that case I would do as I recommended before and pay that little bit more for some bears or randalls. If you are set on getting the cheaper trucks there isn't much else besides the force's and bombers.

from my experience with the forces
-have okay stock bushings but you might want to change it out later on
-have a good bushing seat (they also fit jimz busings)
-turn quite well despite the 35* baseplate.
-are really good with paris hangars
    -quite well made

I can't say anything about the bombers because I haven't actually ever seen a pair let alone ridden some.

So really its your choice on what trucks you get. My opinion is if you can get some bear grizzlys get them if not it's up to you on the trucks. maybe look for someone that has some bombers on here and PM them asking them what there like.

ahah yeah man, sorry i was really feeling surly when i wrote that.
i've just been reading some of the other posts this kid has made and i get the only reason he's buying the project sb is because it's cheapish. i think he wants to just really cruise -

but you're right, chargers would be really quite twitchy for any decent speed especially with the soft bushes they have in them. if you can afford it dude. go the randals. so many base plate options! or paris or bears it's all good

guitarchick, i am currently running force baseplates with paris hangers and venoms all around. im finding it stable yet turny. stock bushings on the forces aren't bad though.

At the moment I'm running the stock bushings which are pretty good, they are a little bit sloppy at higher speeds but.

I am going to order some black jimz bushings soon.

I might put my paris hangars on and see how that goes.
