Seems like your asking for what board you should get?
Well have a look at the old school/ cruiser/ carver/ commuting boards from
Mini/Retro - Hopkin Racing and Boardshop Australia Skateboard Shop for Longboard, Old School, Pool & Slalom Skateboards - there the best places to buy our stuff.
So yeah, just tell us what you like and what you don't and we will try and help.
What's getting you into skating? eg. - just tell us everything.

ey mate,
if your looking for a decent mini board you should check out GFH boards. Their a sick company who are making some class boards, the Pug and the Pigme are shorter than most of the sec 9 mini series and also slimmer, but boards like the twenty seven, losness t-shirt, page and the venice are all slimmer than the sec 9 series but around the same length. Their a good company churning out some sick #### and its all worth it for the sick wheels. If you were looking to buy something cheap off an aussie dude you should go over to ASRA (australian skateboard racing association) and check out the forum called "marketplace" Theres a guy in there selling a Sk8kings maximus, which is about the same length as the sec9 minis and also made by a quality company, can't tell you much more about it since ive never ridden one. so go over there and check it out if you want to buy something ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association
