Re: BC Moray
this board looks like all kinds of fantastic

Re: BC Moray
my only concern with flexy boards with kicktails has been the kicktails maintaining their shape, the flex of the boards tends to relax so will the same go for the kicktails holding their form? looks like a really fun board though

The board is very stiff! Maybe .25" of flex. It is NOT a flexy board.

Its hard not to when you see bamboo. Our Eel, Moray, and Flounder are pretty stiff boards. We believe the freeride boards work better stiffer, especially with moderate/high speed slides etc... If you want flexy you have to look at our Swordfish or Marlin.

Two foot, ten foot.... the funs the same, all I'm looking for is a smile.... and it's riding a board that does it for me, it's not necessarily the size.

The BC Moray, named after a species of Eel, is the newest proto in the BC lineup. A smaller version of the Eel with added kicktails for endless fun in the streets. Any constructive criticism on this design would be appreciated. We will have more pics coming soon. This board is going out to Bauer for some testing and we hope to have it out soon.

Awesome! add 8 inches to the length and Im there. I was just thinking of having a drop through custom made with little kicks like that. This one is just too short for me
Or just offer the kicks on the Eel

Re: BC Moray
I think that the length is great.

Re: BC Moray
im diggin it, i think you could make a flexy version and then glass the kicks to make them stiff, but i dont know much about board building

Re: BC Moray
I think that longer/wider by an inch kicks would be sweet, but I obviously haven't tried to use those. I think this board looks amazing though, and probably won't be able to restrain myself from buying one for some parking-lot/garage fun when some pennies roll my way.
So many things to save for lol
I love longboarding. Especially slope-style free-riding. Mmm.
