Hi all,
Local 124 is a longboard and oldschool skateshop in Edmonton, Canada. We've had a great first year and "the Fish" has been a great resource. We love anything that spreads so much stoke.
Anyway we'd like to get some feedback and external users for a web project we've been working on..
We've been toiling away for the last last few weeks coding a mapping component for the Local124 website. It uses google maps and lets the user point and click their favorite spots or routes or hills or whatever based on type of skating, anywhere in the world and then save them for public viewing, comments, ratings etc. It' should be way easy to use, but we're definitely looking for people to beta test it and give us feedback.
So, if you all want to check it out and post some spots we'd appreciate it.
I'm sure you'll all find it useful. Let us know. It kicks ass on anything I've seen.
Go to local124.com : World Skateboard Map
register and/or login (top right)
then go to "the map (beta)" (top menu after logging in)
add some skatespots.
Have fun.
