Yo Russ, we really appreciate your stoke and the vibe you bring with you to the shop. Thanks for your support

On another note, we just received the grip we've been working on for the past couple months. You guys are going to like this stuff...better than anything I've seen stock on any board that is actually griptape (Rotule's recycled glass shards are probably a little grippier, but that's a whole nother game they're playin). I can say that with confidence. It's right up there with Vicious.

Real quick, Ryan was nice enough to get one of the new IBACH proto decks into my hot little hands. I haven't had a chance to really ride it other than just push around and hit some stand up slides in my hood.

What I will say so far is this. The IBACH seems to be quite a departure from previous decks in the Bustin line up. Feels very solid. The concave is complex, and seems to have had a lot of thought put into it in regard to where you put your feet when you slide, tuck, cruise, etc. Slide rails seem like a pretty good idea. essentially just a bevel on the edge, like a small step to help your foot grip.

I set the deck up on 10" Caliber 50* trucks (stock bushings) and some Phat Deanz 70mm Phat Rollz. Looking forward to getting her out tomorrow on my test hill. More to come....

I'm digging the whole kicktail on a dropdeck thing. Even if its hard to manual, it's always nice to have some leverage for dropping curbs and popping the board into your hand

This board really looks like it would be fun to ride! I'm Liking the pricing too. Does anyone know what the EFP (effective foot platform) is on it? Thanks.

This is well put and what I was trying to convey, but probably didn't. Thanks for following up.

It's hard to describe. You've just got to feel it.

really dont understand the rampant hating on alllll bustin boards. ive ridden a strike, sojourn, 2 differant maestros, the complex and the spliff. the only one i didnt looooove was the sojourn. all of them have been fantastic for pushing in my area (north burbs of chicago) verrry interested in trying this out.

i think people just need to get off their supermodels/dervishes and try something new for once

Thumbs up Re: New Bustin Board! IBACH

I know its obviously not the best but is this gonna be a terrible dancer because of the drop deck? While ive been waiting for it to ship ive picked up a few tricks. More pumped on free ride and downhill but I wanna dance too.

p.s. super excited to make some Ibach videos!

There's definitely room to do some cross-stepping on this bad boy. The cave might feel a little weird when doing peter pans or whatever, but some dancing is definitely possible on the IBACH.

Haha of course peter pans are what I'm talking about. I'm not gonna let it bug me though, I'm sure ill get used to it. I just learned them the other day and its a new found love, starting to look steezy.

lol the people who hate on bustin aren't doing it because they love the dervish....

they hate because the construction on most bustins makes them unsuitable for anything other than pushing around and dancing. I like the ibach because it looks like it might actually be good for riding something other than city sidewalks.
