Big Island Skate Spots

My friends and I have started longboarding relatively recently (past 3-4 months) and were wanting to find more spots to skate on the Big Island. We live Hilo side but can drive. Were down for anything, chill cruise, slide hill, downhill but were not that good so nothin too crazy :P. Basically any suggestions would be great,

yeah thats what weve done for the most part, then its just about luck though

Yeah I live in hilo too are there any good spots with only a little cars

The best place i've found for a couple decent hills and cruising has been Sunrise Ridge, recently had the cops tell us not to skate there though so were trying to find other spots till the heat cools lol.

i've seen some sweet as hills when i go up to bi island, kind nuts tho. I've got a friend who lives near waimai, and to get to her house u have to drive up a 5 mile hill. best thing I have ever seen, windy and smooth with no cars. other then that, if you were to just drive north for hilo, turn into any side u see and i bet that would be good fun. Thats what i plan on doing next time i go up. haha.

ha i've been just a cruizing a round. still skate bomb 13's all the time, i just never find time to go to town. just got an 09 hellcat tho, it looks like sex, i havent done anything with it yet tho. this week im headed out to round top i think

I just got an 09 hellcat too and it is seeexy, the W concave helps too

wat are you setting it up with? idk how im gonna do it yet. im gonna make it a freeride board. I want it to be stable, and pretty easy to slide and make my turns and wat not. So far i got 50/35 with free ride otangs and the DH venom bushings 90a.
