    Default New in San Francisco...

    Hey guys,

I just picked up a longboard -- it's been maybe a decade since I skated, and that was on a short deck

Anyway, I've only been in SF for three months or so (moved over from Australia) and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a few decent spots -- honestly, no idea what the protocol is here -- feel free to email or PM me.

Keen to meet up with some SF longboarders soon too.

    Nick.

I just navigated thru the CBC site and found a map with highlighted streets and shops.

The city is dangerous as #### for a newbie. Be careful and wear a lid.

Nice! That map is awesome, definitely a great starting point to find some good spots. Thanks man.

If anyone sees some hack riding GG park this weekend on a bamboo landyachtz deck, feel free to introduce yourself!

Kenny -- I know. Steep hills, tight traffic and throw in curveballs like cablecar tracks -- it's a recipe for pain. The lid will be on, and I'll be taking it pretty easy until I get well and truly comfortable.
