Slide Jam in Santa Barbara! 805

The UCSB longboarding club is planning on throwing a slide jam very soon!

The date for now, unless any complications arise, is February 20th.
Judging will be via pts for top 3 skaters at the end of the day and soft wheel only, but you hard wheel shredders are welcome too!

We're working on getting prizes and whatnot at the moment.

So leave the 20th open for a trip to Santa Barbara,
and shoot me a PM with any questions.

Hey everyone,

We are moving the meeting time up!!!! We will be meeting at In-N-Out form 11:00 - 11:30 and will be trying to get on the road at 11:30. The Drive up to the spot is around 35 min. so if you're not really in the mood to drive, maybe carpool with someone? But this is a commitment, so no leaving early since we will be in the middle of the mountains!!! haha

So yeah, get to In-N-Out between 11 and 11:30, bring some snacks and water!! It's going to be a great event!!!!

So I've been looking around at all of the weather sites I can find, and none of them can tell me if it is going to rain for sure on Saturday.
I don't want to cancel the event on the chance that it doesn't rain.
This is a HEADS UP!
Check the weather web sites on Thursday and Friday, and if it seems like its going to rain for sure, email me, call me, GET A HOLD OF ME ANY WAY YOU CAN!!!
I will be at In-N-Out from 11:00 - 11:30 on Saturday if it is not poring rain. If you dont feel like coming out because of the water, let me know, and if enough of you dont want to, we will reschedule for the 27th.
But for now, keep an eye out on the weather, let me know, and I'm really sorry for any of you "out of towners" who wont be able to come if it rains. And pretty much for everyone b/c we will have to reschedule.

If it doesnt rain, it is most likely going to be cold and a little windy up in the mountains, so dress accordingly.
