Alas, I can provide little in the way of details because I was not present for the event. I am entertaining vauge thoughts of participating in next month's event but I need to build a slalom board or make arrangements to borow one. I doubt I'd place too high; but on the other hand, after practing that one day, it looks like it would be something that I'd do well in after time.
Details can found at ncdsa slalom.
I've been skating MY ASS OFF this past couple weeks. In fact, skating is just about all I do! Hours, I mean HOURS, every day. Mount Helix area is a treasure trove. I am particularly fond of the run leading down from Summit Drive. There are some youngsters from the area that showed us a good run the other day and we charged it together at sunset -- all six of us -- down narrow, winding roads. These kids want to join NBS.
Last night I shredded that bank on Montezooma Road for awhile. I'll post pictures later. I've got this little bitty "pocket cam" that takes remarkably good images and VIDEO. I made my first skate video, titled BugBomb. Absolutely silly, and I'm quite pleased.

    Sup?

We hit DelMar Ave for a minute prior to sunset ... Pat bombed it from near the top ... as he passed me, he called out,"How do I slow down??!!??"

He ended up bailing (quite well) onto a lawn.

The local kids were calling for you ...

    Let's make it official ...

The Ninja Bomb Squad and all else who care to join us shall meet Saturday morning, 29 January, at 1015 on our beloved Del Mar Ave for a day of shred. This is going to be a big day that none of us will want to miss. We might film, and we might hop around to more than one site as the day goes on.

    Default Rides

Sorry. I can't do any riding today. I will be setting cones tomorrow at the pump station if anyone cares to join in. You are more than welcome to slide or bomb as long as you reset any cones you hit. If anyone is interested I will bring along my DH board. The speed is only 35 but it could be fun to do a couple of runs.

I scouted a potentially EPIC ditch today. It runs alongside the 94 freeway.
I also spoted a parking structure downtown with a spiral ...

Last one? Can we be sure? It might still be possible to infiltrate even after the structure is operational ... especially at first when the employees might not have an established plan to combat us ...
