Anyone going to Comic-Con?

Hey everyone, anyone here heading down to Comic-Con this weekend? Could be interesting to set up a nerdlinger slam sesh at some point.

On which note, anyone feel like putting up a visiting Limey animation student for the weekend? All I need is a couch and will gladly give the occasional special midnight 'hug'.

That hug bit is a joke btw. Seriously. But seriously seriously I could do with a place to crash.

So you're coming all the way to Cali, about 9 time zones away, just for the Comic-Con? Great for you, there seems to be tons of euros over in SD right now.
Don't permanently live here so I can't provide accomodations.

Oh man, I would love to cosplay at Comic-Con as some skanky anime chick. It'd be like reliving all my high school fantasies for the first time. I don't think it's in the works for this year, though... maybe next year.

I sooo wish I was. Im a vinyl collector. I went to fanime and anime expo but comiccon is too far. Hopefully next year though to get some releases and signings from my favorite artists!

ps. anyone wanna be my mule? I'll pay.

Nah I am working in LA for the summer, so figured I might as well go check out comic-con while I'm here. I'm not THAT lame. Pretty lame, but not that lame.

I ate lunch over behind the Convention Center today and it was abuzz with trucks, cranes and traffic, all loading it full of what will be ComiCon. We may be in there one day via press-pass (not 'Fish) to check it all out but I personally would rather stay the F out of downtown.

It would take an hour to drive from AX to ComicCon don't be a noob shimo.
