I have just recently started freeriding/downhill with a landy chinook. I have had a carving setup for 4 years and two loaded boards. What I'm asking is where are some good beginner hills on oahu, nothing huge and nothing with lots of traffic. Also would any one want to go skating sometime probably in or near Kahala.
Thanks
hey I ride a chinook too, and it's lots of fun. Some hills I started out on were Paradise Park (starting from the windy part in the back), Auloa road (it's a bit faster but I just carved at first and it's easy to stop at the bottom), and Kilauea Ave. but there are hills EVERYWHERE in the valleys and mountains on the town side of the island, you just have to search a little. I live in Kailua so I don't know many of them.
