Default high speed wobbles....

i have a demonseed on randal II on gumballs. my front is slightly stiffer than the back. oh yeah, i'm running on bones, not sure which ones. anyways, after i break about 30 mph, i get the wobbles. i tried to tighten the front more but no good. is it me? what is making the board wobble?even if i hold the board with my hands while tucked, freakingwobbles. now what?

make the back stiffer than the front...wobbs come from your back foot, so if the back can't move as much you won't get wobs as badly

okay i understand the whole stiffen everything up theory. at high speeds it'll turn still. but 9i have friends that bomb with really loose trucks, explain. is it just massive skills?

one of two things: 1) they could have better quality/stiffer bushings to handle the speed
or most likely 2) have nuts-o-insane balance.

one of my friends bombs with us at +40 and has it so loose the nut is fallling off the kingpin.

if you skate more with looser trucks you'll get better balance and should be able to handle speeds with looser trucks. that's what ive been doing for the past year or so.

definitely dont keep the front tighter than the back. thats your first, and possibly biggest mistake so far. tighten the back end up pretty snug to start out with and keep the front turny. like someone said already, the wobbles come from the back of the board, not the front. also, make sure you are putting the majority of your weight on your front foot and taking as much weight off your back foot as you can handle. it will make the back end less twitchy.

if that still feels weird, then yeah, try harder bushings.

drop that back knee, it will solve all of your problems. get lower. If wobbles still occur, either ride em out or start turning even if you don't feel comfortable, a couple of mph difference up or down will calm the wobble. Also don't ever hold the board to ditch a wobble, it will not help and may make it worse. Remember wobbley is a state of mind, too.

firstly don't listen to DK his boards are set up oddly =P jk jk, you should have your front truck looser then your back and alot of the wobble is just being uncomfortable with speed, just take a deep breath and try not to think about what your doing if you over think it you'll most likely end up getting thrown off the board
