hey all,
so there are #### tons of skateboard shops but there are no shops that really carry longboard stuff. i've called places and all they have are sector nines and indy's and stuff. absolutely no longboard stuff. i've been going through daddiesboardshop but i kind of want to physically hold what i am going to buy before i buy it.
help me out
i live in irvine so any help finding an actual longboard shop would be excellent.
have you heard of MuirSurf? they are located in San Diego. they have zigzags, otangs, powells, landy's, loadeds, laderas, sec9, randal, bear, those brazilian made trucks, everythhing, its like a candy shop. they also just put up a new site. MuirSurf.com...it'll be faster than daddies and it'll be packaged better. trust me, i know the manager.

Jokers in HB carries gravity and some of the big pps boards. Board Gallery in Newport has earthwing and a few other brands. Check them out.

Hardcore and casual are marketing schemes used by capitalist corporations to sell products and thus make money. They're deployed as systems of categorization meant to induce feelings of belonging among one group defined against another group. Works all across the board.
You know what, that isn't the shop. This Website is completely different as well as their offerings. The shop that I was thinking of is Stoked Skateboards but they are in Torrance.
There is Jacks Garage (Part of Jacks Surf) on Main St in Huntington and right across from it too is HSS which if you go through the front and to your right there is their supply of boards, trucks, and most gear. It's very tight though in HSS but friendly people to help you out. You can also try Froghouse to you left as you enter right into Newport, but you kinda should know the people that work there though. Mmm, there is also ABEC 11 headquarts off of Nichols Street in Huntington too. They are not that open for that long though, M-F from 7:30am - 4:00pm, as you would with Jacks or HSS but you get it from the source you know! I am actually from socal, but are now living in norcal so I don't know if any of the old shops are still up and running. Need to get back down though!
