Default Back in Honolulu

After 3 long years in the mountains of NC, my family and I are back in Makiki (been here 4 months now). I've read through the 2 Hawai'i threads and it seems most of y'all are young guys who would probably be embarrassed by my lack of ability (I think I skated 5-6 times this year), although I was making some good gains on the hills surrounding Boone, NC.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and ask if y'all could be sure to include some town spots in the Hawaii's spots to ride thread. I didn't skate when we lived here before so I didn't pay attention to the roads.

Also, I'm back surfing Kaiser's & rock piles (that has not been going so well either as graduate school sucked the strength and endurance from my body. Today was awesome too, but I was dead by the time I made it to the lineup) so if you're out there let me know.

The south shore sounds pretty epic today. Enjoy it for the both of us!

sick dude.
If your into downhill and cause your in makiki theres always mott smith, makiki hts, and tantalus. If you like cruising most of makiki is really good for it. For a crusing spot i usually start from makiki village market and go down wilder, take a right at punahou st. and take a right a beretania. Its really really nice and is slightly inclined/flat.
