UC Riverside Students

Just saw the UCSB thread, figured I would try a thread of my own. I've started a couple of these a year ago, but had no luck. Since a new school year is starting I figured I would test my luck.

Only downhill guys I know of attending UCR are Joaquin, Carlos, and I. Loads of skaters on campus, but 90% of which skating for transportation purposes. So any first years on here?

I saw talked to a guy at Bear facts with a rayne hellcat and asked if he did downhill.
He said yeah i guess i could if i tightened the trucks, but i just use it for transportation.
I was sooo disappointed.

What kinda hills are over there?

Also do you guys ever hit up the garage at the mall? that thing is biiig.

So you're gonna attend next Fall? Didn't have a car my first year..so no exploring was done. If there's a garage at the mall, I'll hit it up when school starts for sure. Let me know.

Beware of a kid named Jeff Laymon, who is the epitome of douche-baggery. If you happen to meet this guy (which you most likely will if you're riding something eye-catching), slap him in the face for me and walk away.
Also beware of massive amounts of skaters during the day.

UCR is the only school in teh UC system with a creative writing major.
