is there anybody out there who i can skate with!?!??! i have a bunch of friends who skate but im the only one serious about getting better.
basicaly looking for some one who dances well and could give me pointers. (i can dance well enough but i want to get better) and someone i can kick it with at a parking garage or somehting
didnt mean for this to sound like a soulmate search but thats how it came out.

I've been looking for some other people to skate with too. I have 2 friends that I skate with but the 1 friend that would do slides with me moved away during the summer and my other friend just likes going around on cruises. There's nothing wrong with it but occasionally I like skating with someone that would like to do something more challenging.
I've been getting into dancing but I still pretty much suck at it. I can somewhat do cross steps (robotlike) and some lookbacks. I've been working on slides this summer at a side street near mace and cowell.
I'm pretty busy this week but I'd be down to skate sometime this weekend or next week/weekend.
Perhaps this should have been posted in the California forum?

yea, sounds awesome. I started classes this week so I can't until this weekend. Does saturday sound good?
i dont care. how bout we meet up somewhere we all know about, then skate to wherever. do some sliding dancing and stuff.

im down for whatever. we live in the north davis area, so the nugget might be a little hard for a meeting spot. i'd like to try to avoid downtown because of the cops. we could meet outside the MU, the ucd quad, or anywhere.

ucd quad sounds good at the southeast corner. we can just chill in the middle of the circle. i'll bring my dervish, and slide gloves and helmet, andi'll try to get a skateboard from jase. should i bring the evo?
