among recent discussions with Castertown, i wanna try and get some sessions set up thru the course of the year between SLO and UCSB. maybe holding some friendly DH races and what not. on that note, i wanna see if anyone would be down to set up a session for the weekend of Oct 11/12. i was thinking we can either hold it in SLO, SB, or somewhere in the middle. so if anyone is down for the session or has ideas on where to skate, post em up eh?

But I would be stoked if we could make this work. I only know hills around here-- San Marcos Rd is one of the best ive seen. But without spotters you can't rip through the hairpins...(I used to, but lets just say I had an epiphany moment sometime last year).

well if we get a sesh together...id imagined we would have enough people to rotate around as spotters hahah. i gotta do some research into hills between slo & sb. if anyone here knows any runs around SLO feel free to post em if ya deem it acceptable. i gotta a few runs outside the city i gotta scope out, and one looks like a rather promising hairpin sesh

found a road near solvang that looks like itd be interesting. anyone down for some exploring hahah

I'm down but i dont have a car with me. My friend who i do a lot of sliding with has his truck and he might be down.
tell you wat, if you guys are down for a sesh sat the 11th or sun the 12th let me know and ill drive down myself and probably 4 other guys if they can squeeze into my truck and we'll head down to santa barbara...ive heard that san marcos rd is quite the spot.
as for another spot near solvang, for all you with google earth search alisal rd. look for the windy, hilly part hahah. looks like a short run, but i think it may have some small potential.
