Cole Grade Rd winding down from Valley Center,Ca in to the Pauma Valley, Ca.

They held the Gravity Games their back around 1989 or 1990 it was televised on wide world of sports. But they started the race half way down the hill and it gave Jim Korten fits because he want to see the world records smashed. If you Start at the top of the Grade you get can up to 84 mph on a luge board like Jim Korten did when I followed him in a chase truck.
I have only seen Roger HIckey and other do it stand up from the half way point I think they the hit 59 mph. They even had bicycles with no pedals racing down for speed in the television gravity games show.

Their are is also Sleeping Indian rd in Fallbrook that winding down to Oceanside. It a 70 mph plus hill. Their is also a hill that winds down from the hills above the lawrence welk resort that is also very fast. Another steep gnarley hill is Coronado hills dr. in San Marcos,Ca It is a 70 mph plus hill. Lynn Cooper has a video of Jim Korten standing up to foot brake his luge board with smoke coming off his feet.

Basically their is hills galore in the whole area almost all are makeable with a luge board safely. Some can be made stand up but with today equipment I don't see why not all. Just be careful speed is addicting the rewards are great or they can turn out tragic.
