Here's the deal. The street I live on is literally packed with people every weekend. (Very, very drunk people for that matter) I've talked to a couple people who have done ped slalom races down it (mostly fixed gear bikers but a couple boarders) late at night and i'm trying to get a group of people in the area who are down to do some races. Who's down?
He might have the advantage in more open areas, but we'll kill it in the crowds.
True, i guess there's really only one way to find out (my money's on him haha) My friend Cameron said he's down to race (probably on his pool deck), my friend JD and Evan might be down but i have to talk to them. I'm thinking next weekend (not tomorrow), friday or saturday starting on the 6800 block to the end of the 6500. Slide gloves would be a good idea because the street kind of ends there.
man, IMHO skating around IV is a burn on weekends when everyones all wasted..ive had more than one occasion where some drunk fcker gets in your way or tries to knock you off your board.
a couple weeks ago i saw some poor guy skating down dp and some black dude straight up clotheslined him. haha
good luck though! sounds fun...if i weren't downtown i'd probably be down

Dude a few weeks ago I was in SB on the main stretch down the beach(idk what its called) and some asshole sector9 kid thinkin he was all cool dropped his shoulder on me for no reason I came so close to turning around and decking the kid especially since he was like 12 and he should respect his elders but if I could get a ride up there I would be down
