    Default Churchill mfg: the lost longboard templates found and uncut pressed blanks!

    This thread will be a cool resource for oddball offerings from the factory floor like pressed drop down and concave maple blanks, cnc cut 15mm birch flatties, seconds, shape templates and whatever else might be layin' around.

    FOR SALE:
    Canadian Hardrock Maple pressed blanks available in 2-3 weeks from today;
    9ply 12"x47" concave taco mold UNCUT deck made in the US = $39 (USA 48 ship only) quantity discounts apply
    9ply 12"x47" 3/4" drop down concave UNCUT deck made in the us = $39 (USA 48 ship only) quantity discounts apply
    Blowout: CNC cut 15mm unfinished birch decks, they need sanding and spraying = $38 each (USA 48 ship only) available in shapes ST16 through ST30

    FREE LONGBOARD TEMPLATES:
    I thought I would throw these longboard shapes in here to use as cutting templates for the blanks we sell. Especially since my HD crashed and a computer guru had to come out to bring them back from the dead. Tweak at will and post your builds...

    TEMPLATE PRINTING from your computer's printer:
    1) Download the .pdf file and open in adobe acrobat reader version 10.
    2) Click file; then print; then under "page scaling" select "tile all pages" and click "print".
    3) Tape the pages together and cut out to make your template.

    Thanks for reading this post,
    Troy

    Some of the 15mm cnc cut birch boards that need to go to someone who wants to sand and paint them for a big $38 each. Here's a few shots of finished boards.

    a really beat up one;

    For ordering, just send a PM with your address so I can round up a shipping cost via UPS Ground and you could fire a paypal payment over or send a check.

    Ya, they are flat as a board! Cut from 15mm x 60"x60" pre-pressed birch. We just buy the birch and route it out.
    They make for a fun, comfortable board with just a little flex. About 0.590" or 5/8" thick. They need a little sanding and some paint to finish them up.

    I may sand and lacquer them just make it easier. I have made thousands of these. The cool thing about pre-pressed birch ply is that 40% of the veneers go in the cross section which means they are never warped or twisted. Plus, since they get totally machined on the CNC Router, the holes, drop throughs and shapes are perfectly accurate, no "crabbing" boards goin' down the street.

    Right on stringtheory! That's killer you remember that article. I have been helping Michael Brooke a bit with articles here and there like "tech talk" and "wheel secrets revealed".
    Thanks for the post. We have been making boards for a long time but spend more time reading the fish than contributing. Hopefully we can ad some cool stuff and resources to the forum.
