NOT VERY FAST.... i find 215s to be overly twitchy but hella fun...



I am pretty sure I am going to run mine with randal 42 baseplates and Paris 195 hangers..



i think this will set the board up for some serious thrashing while keeping it stable enough for 35-40 mph runs...

I think a lot will depend on your ankles and your balls and your bushings, essential elements of the stability system.

Yeah I know randals are more stable with speed, but I wasn't sure exactly how much more stable indys are dropped through.

so that was my "real" question.

As far as the setup, even if I got 215 on my Boomy, on a dropped board you get hanger bite, no ? or need to tighten them a lot, so not really the purpose of Hybrids....

I would vote for RII or Bears i.e. front mounted reversed trucks ...

I rode Hybrid Indys on my Loki dropped through for a few moths. No hanger bite. Though I had to run 75mm wheels to avoid rail bite.

I'm planning on getting one eventually, and for my little conspiracy setups in my head, I've thought of Randalls and Durians, or 215's and Retro Freerides (if that will fit?). Either way, I wanted to throw some >70mm wheels on here, which I rarely do with my boards.

NOTE: have ridden 215s on a dropthrough FSM and got rail bite to the ground..

Keep on mind that the FSM has rocker and the ESM does not. That will alleviate most rail bite issues. And the fact that Brian loves Indys and designs his boards around them.

IMO and because I don't want you to waste money, that setup won't be very fun under 35.

I'm going with 215s and obombers/cults/earthwing freerides/lime freerides/durians/sidewinders/kryptos/drifters/classic freerides/ cult classics (when I can get them)/fireballs.... wheels are fun...
