Ps: it's not a new glider, I'm not sure how each run differs but it's black on black old graphic if that makes a difference
edit: just thought about it, you probably weigh more than me. I'm 145lb
Indy 149, sabre cones, cupped washers. 170 lbs.
I was just confused as to how you were running 72+mm wheels on a 'glider, 68-70 is much more manageable.
Anybody can comment on the new superglider flex? I'm really interested in how it compares to the damp flex of my aqua glider

Re: The Earthwing Skateboard Army
hahaha the mini-glider proto is a good enough board as is. i'm actually afraid of the final. the rip was fun as hell. bonelessing over decks and ####... met plenty of new people. hope we can get turnouts like that more often and i hope more of you guys can come out some time.
8ftbed, just tell brian to bring yours out to the rip and i'd be honored to sign your board. although i don't think i'll be able to walk around with the huge head i'll have...

Re: The Earthwing Skateboard Army
You'll probably only feel awkward if you roll up in there with a dervish or something.

It's mad chill there. If you're comfortable watching people go nuts on boards and do stuff you could never in a million years imagine yourself pulling off, you'll be in the same head space as half the people there.
Plus, the guys on the team are super friendly, and can give you pointers on riding better.
Thanks to serge (Alpha06) and andriy, I have more confidence to pull off standup slides.

Re: The Earthwing Skateboard Army
Just a friendly reminder everyone, your thrashed glider makes a perfect cheap used complete to sell/give away to that friend of yours who you got interested in skating.... opening up a perfect reason/excuseforthewife/rationalization for a new carbon glider.

Re: The Earthwing Skateboard Army
Is there any parking around RIP central? What if a wannabe was to drive in from Chicago?
I'm feeling a weekend turnaround roadtrip festering.

Theres a street right outside the park by the spot. My first time going was this past friday, and had no trouble parking.

Very cool, thanks!! sheesh... I could've google mapped that address and get a look. They might have the street view too, which comes in handy casing the joint.
