They are godly. Perfect grip, perfect drift. EW should get those going again, now that "freeriding" is the new thing, and every wheel pretends to grip when you want and slide when you need, like this wheel actually does.

Theres a gap right now in the market for a gliderish drop through cruising deck that works right off the bat, without needing to resort to 42* etc...

I have though about it, but don't you think - unless it's flushmounted there is no space between the trucks to ride? and the deck is so thin that if you flushmounted it, you would be relying on like 2 plies to hold the whole kit together. with a tail, and dropthrough, I can see the back baseplate being annoying, just this block of thing in the way. I can see a longer version with no tail... but I am working on a bunch of stuff, clever things, I am in the anti-hype army, no talk, just drop stuff when it's ready.

Yeap yeap, the tail would have to be sacrificed to the skate gods and so would some wood in the front and rear of the deck. Then again it all boils down to a magic supermodel whispering in the wind...its signal is dim but vibrant /end kryptic chatter encrypted with blowfish

I like and own drop thrus but I kinda like how that is not your thing. I need to get another EW board, I love the Gliders, but its biggest hangup for me is the inability to ride anything bigger than 66mm wheels without raising it beyond my comfort level (this is really my knees talking).

I run 70mm zig zags, indy 149's and 1/4th riser and its low are my friends drop throughs.

I agree with you that my top mount boards set up with Indy's are just as low or pretty close to my drop thrus, but I could never get away with 70mm on my superglider. I ride my trucks loose I guess, I had wheelbite when I set it up with 70mm Zigs.

It might be that my zigs are smaller now. When i first got them they where on paris 150's with 1/8th riser so i guess now they are like 65mm and thats with indys. I have bones soft bushings in every bushings so i run mine soft as hell to.

A Superglider on Indys with no risers is only a little taller than a dropped-through board on Randals.

I fit the big bennett alligators on mine...those are what, 71-72mm? with indy 169s and wedge/dewedge, and silly loose. no bite. of course it helps that i'm only 120 lbs, but...

my setup is wayyy lower than any of my friends' boards on top of randals. it's really nice
