Re: The Earthwing Skateboard Army
Initial thoughts/ impressions???
Edit: When you have a chance, could you answer a couple things for me...
With the 65mm wheels is there much room? I was thinking about a setup with 72mm freerides but I don't wanna use enormous risers.
Also is there any flex, or is it a rock?

Re: The Earthwing Skateboard Army
Interesting. I had the old glider and could never get away with anything more than 66mm (using 169s) and while you have a couple yrs on me, the weight is the same.
I need to put another EW in my stable but I'd like it to be able to ride my 72 mm freerides, its good to know the Widerglider may pull thru. I kinda figured it would have more wheel clearance as (in pics) the cut outs look more aggressive. I could def. be wrong though, I have not riden the newer version.

Re: The Earthwing Skateboard Army
If you're looking to run bigger wheels like Freerides, consider a Supercharger with Randals.

Or 215's since the axel is a 1/2" wider than with Randals (often makes up for being lower)

Yeah, I've just been down the Randals on a topmount road and it doesn't work for me. Just too high for my liking. If I were to go EW, it would have to be with indy's.

My Supercharger on Indy's with a 1/4" shock riser sits marginally higher unloaded than my drop through on RII 42's on the same size wheels. Once I'm standing on my board the sag puts them about even

Re: The Earthwing Skateboard Army
You can def. get the Supergliders low- the one I used to own was about as low as my KS. The more I look at that Crewzer the cooler I think it is. Maybe its the snowboarder in me. I think it would be great with RoadRages or 65mm Rain Skate Tsunamis.

Damn right this thing is sick!
Also ollies quite easily but I need to throw another 1/8 inch of riser to get rid of wheelbite when I land an ollie off center.

The new color scheme on the mystery model looks incredibly sexy, Brian.
