Re: The Earthwing Skateboard Army
Well I am back in the Army. I just ordered a widerglider, I really missed my old one. I sold off a lot of boards due to a move coming up (I am military) but it keeps getting pushed back and I am not sure I want to go the summer without an EW.
I was really tempted to try something new with the Crewzer but I just think I am more of a LDP/ carver than a street/ ditch rider. I still think it is a very cool board though.

no, really it's a redesigned supercharger... Mark you can throw up the photo if you want, I tried some different prototype constructions, but for the advantage, the cost did not justify it...It basically became a Mystery model with a tail, and would have been up around $120 at least retail. It was stiff as hell. A little flex is good for this kind of deck, and when I say flex, I mean an Earthwing version of flex, not some belly scraper composite noodle...it only dissipates vibrations, has a forgiving, predictable ride that will hook you, ans work with your natural movement. It is a longboard that can handle anything, and last for EVA! It will be 41x10, and in a new deeper concave with the same signature rise in the front truck mounting that will give the ride that certain tangy zip that the supercharger and super-wider-glizzler is known for. Secret sauce baby, or "sewause" in brooklynese. Expect the cost to be about $90...

Re: The Earthwing Skateboard Army
Got my supercharger in a week or so ago and am digging it.
Got the hybrid Widerglider in from MHS today. whoah! That sweet thang will be idling on the rack for another month or so. I was ready for the flex and that turnability. The rest of the quiver is stiffer and not so carvy. Well, except for the scimitar which is also on hold for awhile. It's going to be GREAT summer though!!! My butts pointed towards the west coast as I bow down and send a few blessings toward EW central.
