There are only 3 of those carbon ones...Micheal Brook, Grimmace, and Kaspar have one. Funny story, Kaspar had one too many one night, left it on the subway...lost forever, until I got an e-mail from a kid in Philly who ended up with it. He is like "I think I have Kaspar's board" after seeing some footage of him on it. He is sending it back to me, and I am giving him a deck of his choice in return. Kaspar won a bunch of races on that thing.

Re: The Earthwing Skateboard Army
The rich kid up the street had one when I was a kid, and I had a roller-derby that was like $10 cheaper (33% cheaper) so now I finally have one. I though putting the graphics from one of the crappiest decks ever on one of the more technically advanced decks was ironic.

Re: The Earthwing Skateboard Army
I had the worst first board ever. It was a Nash everslick from the early 90s with ~37mm wheels and trucks that weighed like 4 pounds each.

edit: quick pic of a Red 70mm Superball next to the new 76mm.

Dude, that was the deck, it had a skeleton sort of holding on to the trucks. That deck was so forgetable that I doubt you could even find an image of it...almost a waste of film. After that deck I got a skull skates, a pair of fingerless leather gloves, and a suicidal tendencies hat, and then a skateboarder was born.

Re: The Earthwing Skateboard Army
can we get a little tease of the Mystery board?
idea...how about an old school shape board, like a Executioner version 2, like 10" x 31.25 with a 16" wheelbase and a spoon nose

Re: The Earthwing Skateboard Army
I think a wider pool/slide board with some shape would be sick too. I Love the shape of my skaterbuilt Cult II, and the Jay Smith, and I would really like to see what Brian could do with something like that. 10.25", fat tail, smallish nose, 17.5" WB and New drifter style Deeep concave.
However, I Really hope that the mystery board is what I think it is..........
