Need A Board

Hey guys,

Name is Ryan. I am from the Barrie, Ontario area and am looking to start longboarding. I have never skated in my life. I need to find myself a complete board but at a good price. I know a lot of you are going to say don't go too cheap and I have seen that in many posts on here already. I actually stopped myself from buying a board because of these comments.

I am looking to spend no more than $160. I just don't want to get too invested in something that I haven't tried or don't even know I will like. If any of you can point me in the right direction it would be great.

Also if it helps with what I decide to get. I am a bigger guy. I am 5'11" and weigh in at about 255lbs. If that helps or hinders my decisions on a board let me know.

All help is appreciated.

I also forgot. I am looking more for a cruising board than anything else at first. Don't want to be a speed demon out of the gates. Just want something to cruise around on.

Just checked out that site... is it in canadian or US prices? PLus it looks like they are out of stock of those boards.

you're right dude. it's in US dollars and it is out of stock. sorry about that. check out SundaeSkates.com longboard skate company they're selling it too.

i promise you if you don't end up liking longboarding you'll be able to recover a serious amount of your money from selling the equipment...

it'll cost 175 us delivered to yoru door with indy 169 and lime zig zags...

if you parted it all out i don't think you'd be down more than 50usdollars...
