Don't listen to TorontoSk8, he is old, and Toronto is flat
Its so true it hurts owwwww... but we still manage to have some fun down here
However, having skated Montreal's dowtown area for a couple days last summer, I can say I enjoy Toronto city skating more. You're just taking your life in your hands with those crazy Montreal drivers!
Damn!! I've posted everywhere and still no reply from anyone... I live in Hull, takes me 5 minutes to skate to downtown ottawa... I know some crazy spots in Hull and Ottawa, I speak english well, don't worry although I do have an accent but that doesn't mean I'll bit ya! I wanna session with as many different people as possible, I love longboarding, all aspect of it!!!
That sunday morning cruise is way too early though... maybe in 2 weeks!

I just moved to Ottawa. I have found a few spots but no other riders. I know where there are two skate shops (surf side and top) I wasn't very impressed with surf side. But top down town was amazing with helping me out. that shop gets a solid ten here. But I have two questions.
1. Where are there any good places to longboard in the winter or skate in general.
2. And if any one knows where to get soft trucks in town? that would be great.
I'm in ottawa as well... I guess there aren't many ottawa longboarders on silverfish, eh?
I know there are some in my area, but I guess they aren't really forum ppl...
...anyway, I'm hunting for some hills, any suggestions?
Matt
