Default Come to Toronto

CF:

Get out of Ottawa - there is nothing there but useless politicians.

Come to Toronto - great longboarding scene.

Hey Carolyn,

I'm in ottawa as well... I guess there aren't many ottawa longboarders on silverfish, eh?

I know there are some in my area, but I guess they aren't really forum ppl...

...anyway, I'm hunting for some hills, any suggestions?

Don't listen to TorontoSk8, he is old, and Toronto is flat

Its so true it hurts owwwww... but we still manage to have some fun down here

However, having skated Montreal's dowtown area for a couple days last summer, I can say I enjoy Toronto city skating more. You're just taking your life in your hands with those crazy Montreal drivers!

Default Montreal OR Toronto, NOT Ottawa

Bonjour Pierre:

You have to agree that anything/everything beats Ottawa.

At least Toronto and Montreal have excellent crews of skaters, good terrain and night life!!!!

What does Ottawa have - NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

All the best,

Rob

Hey Rob i expected a nasty reply from you on the age thing but no, you are too much of a nice guy!

One thing that Montreal lacks big time is a decent concrete skatepark, you have 3 or 4 in To and even Ottawa has Legacy:

I went back last weekend to skate it with Mig.

I just moved to Ottawa. I have found a few spots but no other riders. I know where there are two skate shops (surf side and top) I wasn't very impressed with surf side. But top down town was amazing with helping me out. that shop gets a solid ten here. But I have two questions.

1. Where are there any good places to longboard in the winter or skate in general.

2. And if any one knows where to get soft trucks in town? that would be great.

Well, cheers and thanks for reading. TIK

ontariolongboarding.com

go there, its how i first met everyone in ottawa.

it may not have the best hills or rider populous

BUT the ottawa crew are the best people you will ever meet. in a nutshell, no if, ands, or buts.
