Re: Southern Ontario!
That's a weather change, weren't you just living in Vegas then the Bahama's? Good variety of skating places I bet. That will be hard sitting out the snow time I bet being from warm weather places. I'm in SC by the beach and it's all flatland, I must travel for a hill.
Have a good move.

YEAH! I moved to Guelph a year and a bit ago, and met another dude through this forum who lives and rides here. A friend I made once here got a deck last summer, and an old friend moved up and has a deck. We gonna be ridin' lots as soon as the stupid snow melts. And building boards.
There are quite a few good hills, parks, trails, suburbs and the like to cruise carve and bomb. I've mapped some routes that I like a lot, I'm no speed freak (yet) though. The hill behind Our Lady of Mercy is a biggun', a little too steep for my tastes currently. I haven't gone around the U too much, except cutting across campus a few times, I recall some very tasty looking hills near it though.

guelph def has some good spots. i think just outside guelph would be good too like the country side roads,..i havent riden there yet but im def going to check it out in july.,..and if your waiting for the snow to melt you should hit up some parking garage's theres one in burlington thats alright its downtown and its practically empty at night. its lit up too. thats actually the first place i even stepped on a longboard. and rode down a few levels. i think it has 7 or something. and theres alot of room in it so you can go wide if your a beginner or cut the corners close if your bombin it,...also the best part is that theres mirrors in the top corner, for when your going around corners to see if any cars or anythings coming. a saftey benfit. also a good spot to slide caue its dry.

Re: Southern Ontario!
^^^^^ I'm gonna have to say the best part of that Garage is the elevator that runs 24hrs. That garage is alright, but they are building a new one by the Fariview GO station that looks like it'll fun to ride, it's gonna be done in May.
Once again, check out Ontariolongboarding.com there is a Guelph section there as well as many other sections for areas around Ontario.
