burlington and grimbsy are only 30mins west of Toronto, right next to Hamilton if you know where that is.
as for flat all the way to BC i dunno about that. There is this thing we have here in Ontario called the Niagara Escarpment. With some very tech runs, very straight and fast runs as well as a bunch of mellow carvers.
check out some of these videos we have made around the Burlington, Grimbsy and Dundas area.
Please stop in the town of Cobourg, Ontario on your way. It's about an hour East from Toronto, and although it does have some halfway decent runs the main purpose of your visit would be to terrorize little old ladies. Also between that town and Port Hope (15m away) in the back country there are some miighty steep hills. I used to live there, it's a tourist town now but damn did we have some parties on the beach.
You should make a stop in Guelph and take a tour of the local color, s'not too far from Burlington.. well okay, almost as far as Toronto. If you're not dithering from the lake shore cities, it'd be out of your way.

well he said he was thinking about going further west, and i was thinking manitoba, saskatchewan and alberta are the things that are further west than ontario, and they're pretty damn flat.... so go east to quebec, where there are most definitly hills. once you get west of ontario i don't think the bombing is that great until you get to the rockies. if someone here is from regina and wants to post some pictures of their epic hills and prove me wrong, please do!
What Cranks is trying to explain, is if you cant Drive to Calgary and work your way westward to the rockies like Kimberly and the Interior like Vernon and Kelowna then to the Coastals by Chiliwack and Vancouver...you might as well go to Toronto and ride the Escarpments/Burlington and enjoy TO's variety of Parkades, i don't know whats between toronto and Ottawa, but im sure there are plenty of sweet skateparks. Ottawa is worth the drive for the slide crew and Canada's gnarliest Spiral of Death. Then work your way into Quebec with early bombs into the Gatineaus.
Not too far from there is Argenteuil County in Laurentides where the freeride takes place and then its just paradise, we are surrounded with hills here. bring soft wheels our roads are really bad. We'll drive up to Tremblant to ride the luge track after 5PM (closing time).
If you're in Quebec you must visit Westmount's Hairpins, unfortunately we don't have any good skateparks but we have the legendary Big-O, its the gnarliest full-pipe ever made!

So choice is yours, East or West.
Agreed. It's really flat in between. Not really good for anything but cruising.
I appreciate your explanation AJ, but it didn't appear as though Cranks was trying to explain anything. To me it looks as if his posts were merely a demonstration of douchgbaggery. Some of the biggest runs in Ontario are west of Toronto. Collingwood, Burlington, and Hamilton are all West of Toronto....and then there's Northern Ontario; Sault Ste Marie to Northbay and everything in between.
our slide crew is pretty depreciated in steez since auger left but we still shred some gnarzapone cheese.
the lautentian mountains are not called mountains without any reason...
kebbek is a great place to ride and thier dh and slide crew is soo stoke inducing that you will be pooping stoke for a week!
