Guelph Skaters Unite!

Just gettin' the word out there, I made a small forum and set up an e-mail in hopes of receiving word from local skaters. I know a few but I see so many more that I have never met and sometimes see only once. There are others like you! We're hoping to get a friendly little community going where people can try eachother's setups and swap/sell old parts, share good hills and get shortboarders into longboarding. Not to mention we'll set up races and small events if we have enough support, and then there'll be parties and the like.

That site is totally defunct. But I skate in Guelph still, make boards, and see tons of people ripping in the spring/summer. Where are you all, and why aren't you SF? I also saw this guy selling boards, company by the name of Blacklock longboards. Can't find any info on him anywhere.

i'll be moving to waterloo in june. that's what... 25 minutes from guelph or something? when i move up i'll hit you guys up so you can show me some sweet spots! =D

I better see some of you guys once I get my board!! You should join the longboarders of guelph though, because they already have a good number of people, and they've already coordinated some seshs. I'm legit hitting them up as soon as i get good enough to take the hills here.
