DONT DO IT!!!! buy a sector 9, or anything, you will be happier.. actually, i will even build you a board comparable with a crown for cheaper than they will just to save you the trouble!!! you will be more happy with any other board ever made

My very first board was a Krown and it warped like all hell in two months. Stay away from them.

I tried a Krown once.I would rather ride a tree with trucks and wheels on it.Ended up buying a Gravity and I am very happy with it.

buy a flat sheet of 1/2 inch Baltich birch, cut it and sand it, there you ahve a board for 20$ and it will be a better board by far.. or just find the cheapest sector 9 you can find, you'll just be much better off this way

get randals, 78a flashbacks, and mini logo bearings, this is a great way to start no matter what kind of board you are riding or making

that should put you right at 100

board - $20 (though you can make 5 out of that sheet of wood)

    trucks 40ish

    wheels 30ish

    bearings $8ish

by far the best wood to use.. and just draw it out.. cut it with a jig saw.. spend tons of time sanding,, and you've got a board every bit as good as a crown and better.. if you mess the first one up, you can build 4 more.. just be extra sure that it is 1/2 inch BALTIC BIRCH.. not just any birch will do...

you wont have any concave or camber, but krowns dont have that anyway, and this mkaes it so you dont have to build a press.

read up here, you'll see tons of things on any kind of board you ever want to build

ok.. make it 42-47 inches long, a distance between the wheels of about 33 inches, give or take, and make it between 9-11 inches wide. and whatever shape makes you happy What i meant by read up in here. In silverfish in the board building section, there are instructions on how to build any and every kind of board ever made. So that can be a place to get more answers to how to do a lot of these things.

but really that is the basics..
