Hey ppl,

Wondering who is longboarding in the St. John's area.... Streets are tough, lots of hidden pot holes lately, but there are a lot of good ones.

What are your favorite spots to ride?

Also wondering if anyone looking to join in on some carving.

Hey there,

First of all.. to get the disappointment factor out; i'm not on the rock. I am in Halifax, but there is a good chance I'll be in St. Johns and area 3rd week of June, and you better believe I'll be packing my board with me.

I'll be site seeing and site skating so if you have some suggestions please let me know. And if you want to carve along; company is always a great addition. I only started longboarding in january as a way to appease myself when i can't get out surfing or the surf isn't ripping. I've come to love it and am improving.

Whats up, I just began longboarding about 3 weeks ago, and I am in the St. John's area. I grew up skateboarding and I snowboard in the winter. I picked up a Landy Chief '09 and I am up to doing some riding. I just rode from my house to the marine lab down in Logy Bay earlier, thats a nice long hill to carve away goin' down there along with some flats for screwing around on on the way. I need to get me some gloves and a helmet soon before I bes killed haha.
