I took a BAD fall on 05/24/08 on Mount Baker in WA. I lapsed into a coma, lacerated my liver, and badly broke my pelvis, etc. I was a hair's breadth from death on the mountain and again later in the hospital. The rehab therapists had to teach me how to do everything again... everything.

I survived that crash because of my helmet. WEAR ONE and send your family and loved ones to the hospital, not the morgue.

We are still working on adding events in Brazil, Canada, England, Malaysia and USA (2). some of these are about 90% confirmed and others I give about a 50/50 chance. We only want to announce events that are 100% confirmed so people can start making travel plans with confidence.

Very cool...can we have a hint as to what state it would be in? Or will we be waiting for a formal confirmation of the event.

Hey Josh, It would be rad if you could make it to Australia. I think Richy and Maria Carrasco are going for the slalom but no one else has contacted me yet? It's still early but that's why I wanted to get this info out. Sydney is about an hour away from Bathurst so that's where you want to fly into.

Oh, sorry if it wasn't clear...
I wanted to know what will be the road the event will take place? or the name of the mountain it will be onto...
I probably know it but I dont know the names of the cities next to it.

    EDIT: ok forget about it
I managed to learn about it more just now
Will the association LSK that already organized an event on it, participate to organize this one??

Yes, BLC/LSK are the organizers. Here is what Koma says about the event, "The race takes place in a ski resort..(www.peyragudes.com) ...It will also be a fantastic chance for foreigners to discover the "Tour de France " as Hautacam (the place where we organized our race on the last 4 years) is welcoming the Tour on the 14 th July (Monday after our race). Hautacam is about 1 hour driving from Peyragudes."

Here are some links to video of the road:

When you talk about adding events in Canada etc...does this mean a new race? Or awarding points in a race that would happen regardless...
Probably the latter, but more races is more cool.

If the Canadian World Cup race happens, it will be an entirely new event.

The start will be on Skyline and the finish will be midway down the Con-Rod Straight. Follow the link to see an interactive track map of the Mount Panorama Circuit,
