Next time put a rubber raft in your back pack.

GPymp.. trust me on this.. a "rubber" raft is far inferior to a hypalon Shredder..
It's what we used to use for creeks that you had to hike into. Much lighter and more durable.
I'd venture to say they are dog proof as well.

Alpha, I will try to skate 3000 miles with you next summer. The only thing is, I live on the east coast so were both going to have to fly the opposite way. Like I could fly out there and we could skate to the east coast and then you could fly back, or vice versa.

How are you going to try to do it though? Map out everything and hit points along the way? Or take a tent, soap, flint, rice&beans and just stop for necessities?

U.S. 50 Goes all the way across the country if I'm not mistaken. I don't know if it is the fastest route, but it can't be too complicated.
