1st and 2nd place at Tunnel Road Outlaw!

After three heats it was down to Alex Izzarelli and me. Drifting through turn after turn I did my best to close the gap between us, but Alex was too fast. In the straightaways I drafted him but was only able to stay a constant distance from him. As we rounded the final corner we could see the finish line. A nine cop roadblock! Alex shot through taking first and I followed closely for second place. Our fans in the black and whites rushed to our sides with great enthusiasm and after confirming our identities they awarded us official pink certificates from the city of Oakland! (we just wished that the tickets were for speeding instead of just skating in general).

We would like to thank Sonoma Old School Skate and Surf for supporting our athletic endeavours.

This was the biggest disapointments except for getting first place and talking trash about the good for nothing Oakland cops. While officer dickhead was wasting our time with us, people in Oakland were getting raped, mugged and murdered, and roller bladers were doing that thing they do. One of the gems of his speech was how he didn't really want to give us the tickets, and two of the other cops said that we should "take it up with the city of Oakland." I hope to be in a race where this never happens again. The lady cop was pretty hot, though. I tried to get her to give us a ride up the hill, but she refused even though she was going that way. So much for serve and protect. They must have no pride. My friend Kevin pointed out that they "served us a ticket, and protected us from having fun." Dispite all the B.S., this doesn't change how I feel about that road, one of the best hills ever!

dude they probably actually didnt want to give you the ticket most of the cops around there think what we do is sick its the goddamn residents of the hill someone up there doesnt like us

just talk to yout city hall about holding a legit event! you will be suprised how receptive they are (sometimes),

yeah man i got a call from oakland PD telling me they would have to give me a misdemeoner if i held the event so they got my number off the site too

ha thats so funny! i love how they feel it necessary to send out the whole department to catch a few skaters. seriously this is your tax dollars at work people!
