New Hampshire Outlaw 08/15/09

Hey, I'm hosting an outlaw race in hampshire on august 15th, for the location private message me and i'll let you know where its at, to give you a rough idea it's in southern new hampshire and half an hour away from where the east coast bbq was. As of right now its going to be 4 man heats with the top 2 advancing to the next heat. If we have time after there will be a slide competition. I'm going to have everyone meet up at the local rec fields and then we'll car pool to the hill to keep the cars to a minimum. Theres a house at the top of the hill that is going to let us hang out in their yard so make sure to be respectful and clean up after yourself because theyre being very generous letting us hang out there. The entry fee to the race is $5 and that will include food (we're cooking hotdogs and hamburgers) and if you want food and don't race its $5 as well (i dont really want to lose money on this for buying food, whatever money is left over i'm using to buy the people who are letting us use their yard something) Prizes will be announced as we get them i'm going to email some people and ask around to try and get some stuff and my mom is baking brownies and stuff for prizes too haha I also have 2 other back up hills and 2 back up slide hills. I think thats everything, oh yeah we have to leave the yard by late afternoon but i know a fun neighborhood we could all go to and ride around or something. I'll post updates here and try to make a more organized thing about this later i just want to get the word out, if youve got any questions feel free to ask. (yeah theres a short section you have to push on but this is kind of more to have fun and hang out with some competition)

the date is rain or shine, unless its absolutely pouring outside then its cancelled because the people whos yard we're using are only free that weekend but i'll try and organize another event soon after to use the prizes for.

btw, very fun course, and you can stick all of the turns while holding a tuck. not techy, so itll be more of a fun event unless we want to look for a tech run. but this one tops out at around 45 with a good tuck

yeah don't be afraid to enter even if your not really experienced as long as you can handle the speed you can hit the hill so its a great chance to get a feel for racing

and if you can't handle the speed, hit it anyway and airbreak. you'll be fine if you can go 25-30 i promise

I'll actually be in Maine on the 15th. Weird coincidence. If I was planning on driving, I'd have to make it a date. Sounds like my kind of get-together. I hope you guys have a great time.
