Push The Point Tacoma, WA push race

ITS ON!!!
First annual Push The Point. 2 laps through Five Mile Drive in Tacoma Washington. Enjoy some faster downhill sections along with flats and uphill sections to give both beginners and pros a chance for competition. $5 to enter, sign up and pay at 9AM race untill everyone has finished. The road is closed to cars during the race, but it is outlaw so ride at your own risk. 1st place wins a Freeride deck from Five Mile Longboards, 2nd wins a Slalom deck from Roe Racing, and 3rd wins a Carving deck from Bentley Longboards. The entry money will be split between these three finishers. It should be a great time bring a friend and spread the STOKE!

how many people are doing it and are the hills scarey, is there a part to push up a hill

check out the NWLB thread there is some good info there. The fastest hill is 40mph if you try to go fast but if you carve and foot brake a bit you can stay at a more mellow 20mph. There is uphill parts the most brutal one is like 1 tenth of a mile long and pretty steep its my least favorite because it kills your legs but there is some flat too along with the last third that is the downhill ish part.

click the link and you will find it trust me. It starts at the entrance of the park if you can't find it go to google maps and search for five mile drive Tacoma, Washington and it will tell you whers it is and you can get directions so you can check it out for yourself and see if those hills are "scary" or not. cool,thanks, i did the 5 mile 2 day 1 time do ran out of time, next saterday going to practice, u think i mite win, hills not scary

dude u should make a video, like little part of a interview of the racers and of the race and the winners put on utube.. also make a little brake time. 1st lap. get every one and have a 5 min brake and 2 sec lap. or do a 1 lap and like 6 people are the finals and make them do it, or not, just a i idea

ive been looking for a filmer cuz i cant do it cuz ill be racing but we could have some photo people show but i agree a movie would be cool to get more interest for next year. as for the break/ finalist thing you can take a break if you want but a six person push race wouldn't be that much fun i think we will keep it as is. good luck man your going to have some serious competion come race day but stay positive isn't bad.

Sorry broski helmets are required so your wearing the whole time. meet at the entrance of the park we will have things set up so you wont miss it. see you there

wait so ur saying i have to wear my helmet all the time man all i have is a full face helmet,
