    Lundberg Qualifies #1

San Dimas, CA, USA- 2007 IGSA World Cup Series Champion Erik Lundberg laid down a blistering first qualifying run today to earn the number one qualifying spot for tomorrow's US Nationals. The Sector 9 team rider is currently living in San Diego while attending college. He made his first ever appearance at Bonelli Park today and quickly came to grips with the treacherous ninety degree Abec 11 corner. His time of 1:03.119 was the fastest time of the day in any catagory. All day long the corner swallowed up rider after rider in its' unrelenting walls of straw.

Thumbs up Re: IGSA US Nationals

Team SkunkTechBoards rider and ColoRado local Kyle Wester shaves more than 1 second for run number 2. Kyle's weapon of choice...STB P-3, Radikal trucks, Abec 11Big Zig's the shade of green. Go get 'em Kyle!
Should be a couple more Rado riders. Calvin? Maytum?
Good runs to all the riders and looking forward to the photos and stories at the end of the day.

Yeah SkunkTechBoards is pretty big @ Penn State.

So I've skated with just about everybody in the top 12 and they are all fast as hell and talented riders. Now I'm not real fast or good at math but whenever I don't crack the fastest time in qualifying I'm kinda hopen one of them bobbles or stands up before the finish so I have a chance in the heat. Qualifying times next to the riders actual finish contradict "Don't mean nothin." I'm not so good at math but the average position change seems to be 2.5 . Not good averages if your looking for a rider to move from 11th or 12th and take it to the finals. Things that screw up this math Chapman just showed up and won. That kinda makes ya wonder what his time would have been. Pillonis had an issue with the start or some crack, I haven't heard (that's racin) I don't know what happened to Raggie but I didn't take him out like I did last year. The big movers were Johnson, Smith and Crone. They were still fast around 1.08.00 The other ColoRado's fell back unfortunately. I like to think you can have a bad qualifier and still have a chance to win. I again usually qualify poorly. So qualies can be an indication of things to come. This is way to much to wrap me brain around and I have to go to work. I do want to hear what happened to the defending champ, was there any adult beverages involved?

oh and I was pretty sure of when race day was. "the racin is today"

SkunkTechBoards is definitely not big at Penn State lol. There isn't anyone who speedboards here other than myself. The craftsmanship is incredible. Rob shreds for an old man too.

That was Dubendorf in Rob's speedsuit.
That was Kludy in the foreground before he took the suit to Brasile.

Sure there is, you just have to know the person to get onto their photobucket or flickr or facebook. That's where all the goods be. A lot of the people that are serious about racing and photo are pussies about Silverfish.
