    Default First Sun

The past few weeks have been horrible. Rainy and wet. But this week, we got some sun. I did some longboarding and took some pictures. Here are a few. The first one is my buddy Mango who is new to longboarding and can hardly even push without falling off. Don't make fun of how his knee sticks out the left side, even though it is kind of funny. The second one is me on a steep, smooth hill.

Sometimes my knee sticks out too. It takes some of the weight off the joint. Those are some nice lookin' hills you got up there.

By the way, who is the guy in your avatar pic?

Ha Ha! I've been wondering when someone would ask that. The guy is the floor manager at my local Jack-in-the-Box fast food outlet. He seems like the steryotipically gay man, and so I went through the drive-through and asked him if I could take a picture of him for my Photography class. He said that I could, and that he had taken photography in high school. So there it is.

He doesn't look gay ... (hahaha!) I thought his headset had more to do with music, maybe that he was some composer you like. At the very first, I had thought it was you, but figured that out pretty quick.

I was just out skating, and tried to stick my knee that far out there, but that's really far! It sure felt nice to get out there for the first real sesh in several weeks.

Jax, have you seen my photo work? click on my "www" button below, if you like. I had some shows last fall and stuff, but haven't gotten too far with it.

I drop my knee like that for hard right turns and slides; use the knee-pad as an outrigger.

I thought the avatar dude was a DJ...

Actually, Mango looks pretty good in that shot. He must be learning fast. I think he just has long legs. 8)

He does have long legs. And he's ok at going downhill, it's just the pushing that kills him. But who wants to push anyway?

mango looks like he is about to need some sliding gloves... nice pics though. It's always good to see pics.

I thought your av was a computer kinda guy. The headset on for gaming or something, or a call centre guy.

Last night I rode a huge hill. It was only the second time I have ever ridden it and it wasn't rainy, so I had to. I've been in the mood to ride big hills lately. Here's the view from top, tell me what you think.

    Default yikes!

Man, that looks fun! Probably too fast for me, but the road is wide enough for some sweet carving (sans all that traffic, of course)

Metal wheels and trucks that don't turn. No, Hell would be thousands of steep, wide gravel roads with spikes sticking out of the ground.
