just found this hill on a OS map, looked it up on google earth looks so unbeleivabley sexy! 1.8 miles, descent of just under 300 feet. im thinking an outlaw freeride would be awesome! if anyone wants to look on google earth its the road leaving speen (princes risborough) and heading towards high wycombe, think its called valley road. but yeh, enjoy!
just rode up, it looks interesting to say the least, most of the drop is done in the first quarter of a mile, hit 35 on my bike with very little pedalling and a very large headwind, surface is amazing apart from one single pothole. as its a pretty quiet road, reckon there mite be a chance of getting it closed off, theres easy routes round it all the way. would so love to drop this hill, but theres a fairly interesting single track section at the bottom, just before you start going back uphill. think without it being closed, it may be a bit hairy! dawn patrols with someone stopping cars at the bottom mite be good though.
