Our first day at the MFOS is nearly done. Marcus Rietema is across the room, finalizing his IGSA report and loading it with Jon Huey's killer photos. He'll post in here when it's done, and you should click the link in his sig to check it out!
Our galleries are loaded with several hundred photos from today, and they're broken down into classes, so you can look for your buddies, family or favorite discipline, easily. Our daily report is just about loaded with photos, and that'll be up all day on the front page.
Good times and great skating, with only one complaint so far. As with last year, MFOS is also just before ASR and is used as a proving grounds for new decks, wheels and more. Loaded's 'tang wheels are all over the hill, including several sets of the 83a purples, as are two new wheels we're seeing with Landy logos on them. Labeda boxes were all over the place! Tomorrow, we'll try to getcha a look at what's being run in on the hill.If you ain't here, you shoulda been.

The sage, Longboard Buddha once said, "A tree spends 100% of its lifetime in a static environment and only after its reincarnation as a deck is it allowed to move at fast speeds...
when allowed, the wood will give thankless service if
allowed to flow."
Day Two, Thursday, was much warmer --low 80's-- and with slightly lesser winds. Skating was fast and more athletes are arriving at the fest, hour by hour. I'm just in the door to the Ponderosa after a day on the hill and before we head off to the Athletes Autograph session at the McDonald's venue.
