Hi Longerz,

On the next weekend, a festival of LOngboard Skate will take place on a closed highway in Carvoeiro, Águeda (North of Portugal).

Yes, we have a closed highway just for us this weekend a paradise for Longboard! (3Km till max 8 percent grade)

On the 4th, we will have a meeting with free rides, some "live acts"(i don't know how it is said) of slalom, slide, and some laughs with catamaram rides. And of course the party celebrating the 100 members of our forum.

On the 5th, it's the day of the friendly championship, in DH Speed, Slalom, Slide and the brand new Expression Session ride, both for boys and girls.

sory to be so late, actualy i wanted to show our projects around portugal a long time ago!

this event is actualy to test portuguese riders and to start things rolling! if this one shows that ppl liked it then next year we hope to do one much bigger and with international riders and big prices

portugal is starting to move in longboarding, and since last year we have a forum just like silverfish, please visit and see our home sk8 videos and meetings, in LONGBOARDERZ

we are glad to recive you in portugal any time of the year to show you our coast and secret spots for longboarding, and if there is no event going on, we make something up

The Festival was awesome, everything went great and it was like we were all a big family, very very cool!! Great people, Great concrete, Great Vibe!

Oh and with no visits to the hospital, which was nice

Next year, this event will take place in Lisbon, probably on September, but this time we'll give notice with lots and lots of time to plan the trip
