Not necessarily, I really couldn't see my spot getting busted as long as everyone keeps out of site of the main road nearby.... (its an access road so theres zero traffic). And I agree twitch's spot looks to residential (and not enough corners.)

Mason- Found a sick freeride spot in west conshohocken. 2 Hairpins back to back.

That's usually what's done to pavement before it's resurfaced...

yeah it was only in the hairpins, and only in the downhill lanes. i think its so cars can get traction in the winter. they actually texture a lot of corners around pa

I cant see the pictures right now since I'm at work but w/e I'm down with bad pavement as long as its somewhat skateable.

edit- looked at streetview and it looks skateable. drifty as hell probably but skateable.

Is their any good fun hills in the city of syracuse? Probably to busy to race on but might be fun for cruising. As i remember it, SU is kinda on a hill, but you would know better than me. If you find something good let know and ill make the trip up one of these weekends.

Do we want to look for schwag prizes for over all points winners or do we want to have a pool of cash that goes towards that and schwag for each individual event or both? If we do cash who will be responsible for that and what if that person can't get to every event?

And so confirmed we have PA on Jan. and NY in April correct? I'll get on a calendar this weekend and pick a weekend for the DC race.

we r gonna do second weekend in may for here in hbg
maybe we can do cash prizes for both (perhaps a percentage from entry fee goes towards overall cash prize)
my skateshop and local board builder (bliss) will provide prizes for our race (and hopefully we can get other sponsors too) hint hint to anyone ease dropping
we are just gonna have to entrust someone to handle the loot, money can be mailed to final destination if person can't make it

i think the overall prize should be a trophy of some kind, not cash. were actually considering taking the entry fee out of our race, if we get enough prizes

razor. we really cant have residential roads for the races. they are almost a guaranteed bust.

    we are gonna keep lookin
that hill will be a back up probably
    not many houses there
very low traffic and so far the neighbors come out to watch and stop to talk to us
we are still scoping and feeling out this spot
there are a lot of back country roads around here but traffic is an issue
we will keep u guys posted though
how ever we choose to do the prizes is ok with me
