It was a great race, but the race of the day had to be the 9-14 yr old Junior-1 race.
Pocket knife dodged a huge bail after someone dove headfirst into the hay.
He got 3rd in that heat .
Sounds like it was really fun. I've already said this but grats to Zak, taking both classes, that's some ownage. All the guys in the final are gnar though, sounds like it was hella close. Did anyone happen to get some video.
What is the story on his wheels? Were they ones that he made himself?

I love the speed and adrenaline, the risks and failures. The speed and excitement simply gets me high as a kite with euphoria and bliss. It is oddly aggressive yet calming, hectic yet tranquil. I think that longboarding is a huge oxymoron of every contradictory feeling, built together to create a wonderful symbiosis of man and board, and by means of which, man and mind.
