Yes. One of the beautiful aspects of this for me was reading the many negative posts in various threads saying this couldn't be done, bla bla bla, etc.. I'm not referring to the folks who offered constructive criticism, but the drive by "you can't do it" variety, although this probably lit the "**** you-watch me" fire that helped turn this into reality. I'm impressed. I wish you guys the best, and you will succed. Go show em soldiers.

Once we have received this, we will begin to assess your application and enter into correspondence with you. Sooo...

Looks like this is going to be done SOLO. I'm not getting into the details but the other dude just emailed me telling me he/his friend dont have enough $. I asked him to ship back the sponsor stuff (Randal Trucks) and I had to tell Longboard Larry (who built the kid a deck) the news...LBL was incredibly understanding and will hold the deck as a backup longboard for me. LBL told me some sad stories about similar things happening in the UK/elsewhere with people flaking

Like Malakai told me, "problem with accomplishing great things is finding great people"

So its still on for May 20. Everything stays the same, its just not a world record attempt anymore. Unless Bustin lets me hop on with them for their skate.

Anyways, some good news is that I won my court appeal for the skating w/o reflective gear. It was me (pro se) vs. the district attorney. Chyeah.
