Default Skating Mediterranean Coast? any input/advice?

I'm from Washington state and I will be studying abroad in Granada, Spain from October 2009 to August 2010. A friend and I are planning an epic longboarding/backpacking trip along the Mediterranean Coast from Barcelona, Spain to somewhere in Italy....depending on how far we get. The plan is to do this sometime between June 2010 and September 2010. Our issue is that we have no idea whether or not this is practical. Can anyone help? Has anyone done anything similar to this? Also...we'd love to have anyone come along because it could be a legit adventure.

    Hey man,

Sounds like a wicked idea for a skate trip - i got time time in the summer and some cash dollar saved up - not sure about the practicality of ur trip either, you would have to stick to local buses as much as possible cos otherwise u'll just end up on the motorways (freeways) and miss any good spot sightings whilst driving past which is heartbreaking. Barca to Italy is pretty much the most expensive part of Europe so perhaps not such a good shout there but see why u chose it - French and Italian Riverias are absolutley stunning but is not steriotypically known as skate spots - lots of rich ppl in yachts!

I'm always down for an adventure esp on my longboard but would suggest finding at least partially recorded route. have u had any other thoughts since posting?

    word,
    Craig
